Motivational Speakers are not Managers

It is more convenient for certain managers to keep silent than to drive accountability on their teams. Sometimes it is easier to invite over guest speakers. Bad discipline is a consequence of bad leadership. This is not the job for motivational speakers. Seasoned bosses implement accountability without being Frankensteins. They do not depend on motivational speakers to become pseudo bosses. A sales force or sales team is a reflection of their management. Their inspirational intelligence does not centre on the upcoming guest speaker but rather on the energized leadership of experienced bosses. Efficient leaders take ultimate responsibility for team morale and do not delegate it to conference speakers. They penalize underperformance and rotten attitudes. More importantly, they incentivize exemplary behaviour and superior performance. Let's remember that motivational speakers and teambuilding can never be a substitute for excellent corporate managers.
