The motivational speakers trend with its uplifting premises has both disadvantages and advantages. One of the major disadvantages is that the remarkable "people care" prominence can result in misconceptions around keeping accountability in check. Employees that are guilty of bad behaviour must be kept responsible.  A constructive method to handle this sort of conduct is to use the question: "I hope it will be fine from your point of view, but I need to share some difficult feedback - would it be ok with?"  Although it can be tough, this follow-up is crucial. Keep the weight the poor behaviour and not on the individual herself or himself. Fortunately tough feedback can transform into a great ending with the necessary changed conduct. Employee wellbeing should always be the central message of all motivational speakers, but never at the cost of healthy accountability.
